SIRU Judiciary
The Southern Inland Rugby Union Judiciary Panel is an independent panel and comprises a chairman and two or more Judicial Officers. The Board appoints the Chairman. Remaining Judicial Officers shall be appointed by the President of SIRU and the Chairman of the Southern Inland Rugby Judicial Panel. Members of the panel cannot hold any other office within Southern Inland Rugby Union. All members of the Judiciary must have a sound knowledge of the SIRU Constitution, Rugby Australia Disciplinary Guidelines, SIRU Competition Rules for both Seniors and Juniors and the Rugby Australia Code of Conduct in which the game should be played.
Judicial Meetings are often held on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening at Romano's Hotel, with players being required following a Red Card incident, Citing which has been deemed to be Red Card Worthy, or receiving multiple Yellow Cards.
