SIRU JUNIORS CLUBS VOTE FOR EVENS AGE GROUPS NEXT SEASON

For the first time since 2008 the SIRU Juniors Competition will revert to Evens Age Groups next year

All Clubs had been given 2 weeks to consider their vote after much discussion at the Juniors Annual Meeting held at the end of October

The Final  vote was Eight (8) for Evens (Griffith, Wagga, Temora, Young, Tumut, Albury, Leeton & Hay) and Two (2) for Odds (Grenfell & Cootamundra) with one club not voting.
 
The SIRU Board has subsequently  approved an EVENS Competition to be played in the Juniors next year
 
The structure for the 2017 Competition will be as followed: ​

Under 7s (NON-Contact), Under 8s (Tackle), Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s.

######      Please note players eligible for under 7s and below will not be allowed to get an Age Grade 2 year window consent form to play Under 8s (Tackle) as per the ARU’s Pathway Laws.
