- DA Article: Seth Stoltenberg has made the switch from Wagga City to Ag College, coming on board as an assistant coach. Stoltenberg, who is also the Brumbies development officer, will step in as backline coach. The 21-year-old said the opportunity to be part of the first grade coaching structure was a big attraction. “It wasn’t something I could really say no to,” Stoltenberg said. “I’m excited for the opportunity.” ............ The halfback didn’t play last year due to concussion, but would like to get back onto the field.
He stills needs a medical clearance to return. “Hopefully I can work my way back onto the field to be part of an exciting Ag College side,” Stoltenberg said. “Working in rugby I would like to give out as much information as possible to Aggies at training to help build on-field performances, but I would definitely like to be part of that playing squad.” Ag College coach Nick McCarthy believes he will be a good fit. “We have brought him in as a wealth of rugby knowledge through his work with the Brumbies, his playing time in Canberra and coaching of rep sides,” McCarthy said. “We thought he would work very well with our young back line.” Stoltenberg has been women’s sevens coach at Wagga City and Southern Inland, but is looking to concentrate on his new role.
